Hocus Pocus
Due to the annual exhibitions ofHocus PocusTo celebrate the Halloween season, the movie has become a cult classic. The 1993 fantasy-horror comedy, directed by Kenny Ortega, centers on a trio of ancient witches who are resurrected by a teenager named Max on Halloween. The Sanderson sisters, played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy, wreak havoc in the town of Salem as Max and his allies try to stop them. TOHocus Pocus sequelit's supposedly in the works at Disney+. The title can currently be viewed via Freeform's subscription service or atDisney+ on launch day.

coralis a terrifying favorite among young viewers and the title comes highly recommended for those who missed the 2009 release. Henry Selick's stop-motion animated horror (the nightmare before christmas) and is based on the 2002 novel by Neil Gaiman. The film follows a new girl in town, Coraline (Dakota Fanning), who finds a parallel world after exploring her new home. Everything in the alternate world mirrors hers, but it's a little better. Coraline contemplates staying there forever before discovering that she is trapped in the "Other World". The critically acclaimed film can be found streaming on Netflix.

Follow the misadventures of Jack Skellington, the king of Halloween Town, after he falls through a portal into Christmas Town. Bored with his life as the Pumpkin King, Jack discovers the spirit of Christmas and decides to take control of the holidays by kidnapping Santa Claus and posing as a jolly figure. Due to the film's focus on both Christmas and Halloween, it could be the perfect family viewing during November and December. Despite not being set on Halloween,paranormanshares the qualities of the holiday, focusing on the supernatural. The 2012 stop-motion animated film also packs a lot of heart in telling the story of a young outsider, Norman Babcock (Kodi Smit-McPhee). The 11-year-old boy has the ability to speak to the dead, and according to the spirit of his uncle, Norman is the only person who saves the town from an old witch's curse. The situation becomes more dangerous when the zombies rise from their graves. Currently, the fantasy-horror comedy can be purchased on iTunes.
Goosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween
The most recently released title on this list isGoosebumps 2: Haunted Halloween, the 2015 sequeltremble. Both films are based on the works of children's author R.L. stine.goosebumps 2it serves as a standalone film, so it is not necessary to have seen the first film.
